    Did that fix the explosion thing? If not, I noticed that Enderminies tend to be aggressive toward creepers. That means that creepers would most likely fight back by simply exploding, the result is random explosions are actually battles between an Enderminy and a creeper.

    I have the same thing going on in my game. Though I can't find any meteors, my guess is that it's some new creeper mob that explodes randomly or explodes when damaged, though I have yet to see any other than normal and tele creepers.
