How to make these forums not so white?

Rob responded, the dev version of the dark theme is up. It's not necessarily finished and things can break, however, since he's still messing with it.

    Theme update

    Yay, thanks Rob!

How to make these forums not so white?

Hmm, after a quick glance at the Announcements section. it looks like Rob, one of the web developers, was cleaning up and fixing the forums a bit. I posted a question about the dark theme in that topic, so hopefully he can clear it up.

    Theme update

I guess the changes broke the alternative themes, specifically the FTB Dark theme. Will it see a return (or was it just moved and I am dumb)?

How to make these forums not so white?

The option appears to have been removed. I had it set to the nice dark version and now it's back to the "murder your eyes" white, with no way to change it. (cue "this is an outrage" pic)

Why doesn't new versions of Mindcrack have stone muggs?

It does have stone mugs. I just downloaded a clean version (and went through the quit/relaunch update dance), they're definitely craftable. Did you modify your mod pack or config at some point?

    Mouse buttons bring up menu

I occasionally have had this problem in Vanilla minecraft. It seems completely random. The only way I got rid of it was alt-tabbing back and forth a few times. I could never figure out why that happens or how I made it work.

biomes o plenty vs extrabiomes xl

Glancing at the MCF thread, it looks like some nice person helpfully added Thaumcraft and Ore Dictionary support to Biomes O'Plenty. Might have to check it out.

Is This Supposed to happen? - Nyan Cat

Yes, it's an easter egg. Also, I don't mean to be impolite, but please use the search function next time.

    Ultimate Pack

Maybe some of us have fun by arguing what fun is. HAHA NOW WHAT

    Ultimate Pack

I think what we've discovered today is that the Edit Modpack button needs to be a giant red button on the launcher. And it should include common configuration options and clear descriptions of the mods themselves. Also maybe some sort of "server setup file" that can be easily distributed that...

    Ultimate Pack

Semantics aside, it's certainly possible. If I remember correctly, Slowpoke did say some time ago that Gregtech would be disabled by default, but he and the mod team could have changed their minds (or they may have just been referring to disabling the changes Greg makes to other mods).

    Ultimate Pack

Please remember that not everyone uses Gregtech and that the release version of Ultimate may very well disable (not remove) Gregtech as the default. They're not going to balance the pack around it.

    FTB vs Real Life

Heh, it happens to all of us. Of course, now I'm wondering just how compact you could make the "fill up the ocean" amount of stuff (10^18 cubic meters).
  15. H

    FTB vs Real Life

Err, I think you may have read that wrong. 382 million cubic meters is roughly the volume of a decently sized lake.

I wanna add Adv solars to Direwolf20.

Do you get a crash report?

    DW20 5.1.0 config weirdness...

I noticed a RopePlus config, as well. Seems we're getting another mod soon, possibly in the Ultimate Pack? Edit: Actually, there's a few more...MineChem, MagicYarn, PLC...mmmmmm

Can Mining Turtles Resume When Logging Back In?

It's almost certainly possible. There's a built in compare function, so assuming you had the relevant ore blocks to compare to, you could have it search the walls and mine the ores out. The mining program linked earlier uses it to make a much more efficient quarry, mining only what it needs to...

[64x] Soartex Fanver - Smooth and Clean FTB

Goes up to 128x. Anyway, I've used the pack without Optifine before, when it wasn't playing nice with Twilight Forest maps. Using Optifine should fix the problem, anyway, along with a nice set of features so there's really no point to not using it in this case. It just seemed...odd.

[64x] Soartex Fanver - Smooth and Clean FTB

Actually, Forge already supports HD texture packs (minus custom water and lava), so he shouldn't be seeing that in the first place. Seems indicative of something else going wrong.
