the platform ist 70 blocks above me and there still spawning just a few monsters every 5 mins I gave up now idk why it won´t work

So I did as you said and lit up a bunch of caves etc. but still there spawning mobs just really rear so I built a platform 150 blocks above the ground and monsters still ar not really spawning just one or two ever 5 min

I´m on Normal difficulty. There´re no slabs where the monsters are supposed to spawn. The diameter is 3x4 blocks.

I just saw that monster spawn in there but it takes a long time for spawning one monster can I do anything to speed that up?

Hey I built this monster farm but they don´t spawn in it. I double checked there is no light in there. Is it to small or does anyone know my mistake?
