I'm still wanting to know the difference between the mindcrack pack and the ultimate pack. The only difference I know of is that GregTech is set to hardmode on Mindcrack. So I'll have to know more before I decide

Why not GregTech? Just change the configs and most the community will be happy

If it no longer changes the lifespan then that is my problem. That's a shame as I enjoyed the prolonged lifespans. And I'm afraid I don't have the willpowwer or the patience to perfom that test :p

Hardcore difficulty is suppose to increse the lifespan by 5x but it has no effect. In previous version of forestry I've had short life bees last around 30 mins. But now hardly any bees last longer than 10 mins no matter the lifespan. The bees were analyzed and they both had short lifspans, but...

When I started beebreeding on FTB I noticed that my bee lifespans were rather short (To what I was use to). So I changed the difficulty to hardcore which is suppose to make them last 5 times longer, but it has had no effect. Is this a bug or has something changed in a recent version of Forestry?

In the config file there are settings that allow you to change IC2 recipes back to vanilla, whilst keeping Gregtech as it is
