I dont understand, FTB doesnt configure the IDs alone? U need to configure the IDs if there is a ID conflict?

Therefore, i should choose a Mod Pack like Unleash and Monster and adds the Mods I want like Metallurgy and for example Erebus, no? But, i have a question, how many mod can i add to a Mod Pack? 3, 5,15? What risk i have that i will have problemns of compatiblility? Thanks again :)
