    The map is a normal map and if you travel far enough you will find land which will have rubber tree's.

    OK thanks for the info. i have tryed the Enhanced Biomes world gen and found animal spawns are pretty much normal. The village spawn rates where still a little high for my liking so I will try the ajustment you said. Thanks for your time in answering to my minor niggles.

    For connecting the Industrial Alvery's up to an AE system I personally use EnderIO conduit's as you can fit both energy and item conduits to the same side.     I did consider that, but wanted it to look like the traditional straw hive. It's made from thatch blocks from Botania which make's it fire proof. Only took about 9,000 wheat to make all the blocks.
