in the .bat file just after the command to launch the jar file, do you have a Pause call after it? calling a Pause function there will keep the window to stay open and you can see what happened. i would also check to see if there are any Error Logs within the Crash Reports folder!

I've noticed that it's definitely a memory leak since disabling the max tickrate shutdown option in server.properties comes up with an out of memory error...with 6GBs allocated.. lol

Do you have the latest driver for your graphics device? Access Violations could mean a lot of things, it's missing, it's being used by another process, or even insufficient administration rights. I would try and update to the latest drivers if you don't already have the latest.
