Windows 8. Get Start8 or something similar if you cant stand metro and cant be bothered to learn it. The differences in UI (when using Start8) are minor at best. Performancewise it's slightly better.

If you go on 6minecraft.net, you'll find both REIs minimap and Zan's minimap for 1.6.4 It's also the first hit on google (When searching for any of the minmaps for 1.6.4), if that would be preffered.
