Thank you both, I finally got it working.

I was wondering if anyone knew how to add optifine to the modpack and have it actually work. I added optifine how i'm supposed to but the modpack wont recognize that optifine is in it.

Would bloodnbones still work if i installed optifine?

Thank you, I'll try that if I could even get the game to start again. Whenever I try to launch the modpack java crashes. Ideas?

I'm playing it on single player at the moment, and how would I do a force update?

I can't make the blank pattern item, i don't know about the rest because i am unable to craft them without the blank pattern It's not that, I cant even craft the blank patterns
