how to get in the dark tower? ive tried everything but i dont seem to get into that thing :( someone could give some advice?

Greetings ftb players, I am having a problem with the launcher. when i start up the launcer everything seems fine.. but the mod packs dont get loaded.. ive kept it open up for like a 10 minutes and there are still no mod packs showing up its keep saying on load.. what to do to get this solved?
