Hi I'm playing around with Ubuntu 12.10 and the issue I have is no sound in any mod pack. I have sound in Minecraft vanilla but not FTB. any ideas would help thank you so much :)

Hi I just installed FTB on my laptop and the launcher isn't reading my full ram. I have 3gbs of ram as per my systems menu in windows and my BIOS this is making FTB crash any ideas how I can fix this?
the laptop is running windows xp 32bit
EDIT Issues got better with a reinstall of Java from Java 6 to java 7 64bit but It still isn't right. I will say it's playable :)
