Summary of the problem furnaces stop working

What is the bug? the minecraft furnaces randomly stoped working and i tryed restarting breaking them and nothing has worked

Known Fix
so when i go and start up The Client it starts fine it even download the entire mod pack properly but when i go and click on multiplayer from the main menu minecraft just closes it won't even let me get to the multiplayer page to put in server info
