    How to keep desktop clean from ftb folders

    Bit of a noob question here. When I put the ftb launcher on the desktop, it started putting all kinds of folders on to my desktop. Moving the launcher to a new folder did not help, it just kept putting everything it created onto the desktop. How do I keep this from happening? Side question...
