Try making a new world and placing Wireless Redstone blocks.

Okay, open up the launcher. Then click Edit Mods. Find the ones that start with redpower in the list that popped up. click on one and click disable. Do that with all the things starting with redpower such as redpowercompat.

Try reinstalling just Wireless Redstone, not a force update. It could be a bug in the mod that only applies to you somehow.

Well, you could remove with McEdit all blocks with the ID's that Wireless Redstone uses. That would destroy all wireless redstone you already setup. But I don't know if the problem is with your mod.jar, the actual blocks, or just the mod itself.

Try disabling RedPower, all of it went bad somehow. If that does not work, try getting the latest 1.4.7 version from the RedPower home site.

What fixed it for me was pushing up the version to version 0.4, 0.3 was total vanilla for me aswell.

Bleh... Bouncycastle errors. Try adding "-XX:MaxPermSize=128m" to the additional java parameters section in the launcher.
