The way RP is coded(I think) is that so items will not fall onto the ground, there has to be a "valid" inventory for the items to go after being pulled out.

You need a path for the items that are pulled out to go, ie. a barrel or chest

And also, the amount of resources+debugging that goes into a frame machine is well worth the awesome resource income in the end. :)

In gregtech, I think Greg has an option to use a diamond/wolfranium grinder instead of a iron pick for balancing purposes.
