It's good to remove it if the player is new to modded minecraft. it can get confusing to read a wiki on how a mod works and then find that the recopies are all different. Wouldn't be that big of an issue if Gregtech had better documentation so that new players can find out what was changed.

Well I know I did have a later version of thaumic bees, I would check the version that is in the pack compared to what MysteriousAges released. I know there were a few bug fixes with enchanting the new tools.

Don't forget the usefulness of enchantments on early and late gear for the magic user side. I'd say some of their enchanted tools can really out pace the IC2 tools. I don't think Tech vs Magic is really balanced much for a competitive play style, but that could be a fun playstyle to develop now...
