[1.7.10] Void World HQM Map [270+ Quests|ProjectE|CustomNPCmod|Second place of JampackedII]

I'm enjoying it so far, but one thing annoys me. You stress how we're to be using ProjectE then make quests that keep us from actually using it to make our lives easier. Once I had a single survival generator, why did I need to craft another four of them when I could just pull them from my...

    [1.7.10 | Unlisted] Obscurity - Jampacked 2 Winner

You can't perform the ritual activation. You trade one unactivated sigil for 2 activated ones in the quest "Cursed Rituals" in section 2 of the quest book.

Ask a simple question, get a simple answer

If you have access to Dartcraft, you can get a ton of Silverwood Saplings by destroying the leaves with Force Mitts. Would be a simple task to set up a bunch of high value Pure Aura nodes around a base anywhere you wanted to build one.

Ask a simple question, get a simple answer

With 13 overclockers in a furnace, along with 2 transformer and 1 storage upgrade you can reach the limit for all overclocked machines, 20 operations a second (1 per tick), but you'll also need 1351 EU/t supplied to the machine.

Want to play with my friend...

Yes, you can use your computer as a server and play on it. I do the same with a couple of friends with a 3.4 Ghz processor and 8 gigs of ram without any performance issues.

Best way to produce massive amounts of MJ mid-game ?

Don't always need a "best" way. I usually end up with an automated full sized liquid boiler. Yes, I know it's not as efficient as several small ones, but I like giant machines in my workshops. I've done it a couple of ways so far, the first was Buildcraft fuel production from forestry farms...

I like FTB, but there's just 1 problem with it.

As opposed to what, a cow in a box getting you over 500 diamonds an hour for free? Collectors were always a horribly inefficient method for getting EMC compared to the alternatives.

    Xycraft liquid tanks

So do Xycraft tanks; other than the edge blocks of the tank, you can use glass. Even better looking is to use Xycraft Glass Viewer blocks to make your tank walls. Xycraft also gets a few extra style points since the edges can be any solid vanilla block, like nether brick or gold blocks.

Need Assistance With an Automated Boiler

If you're looking to automate, use Forestry to set up Tree Farms, a Wheat Farm and Peat Bogs. The Bog produces dirt, which you can turn into humus for the tree farm and peat you can burn in your firebox. The Tree Farm produces logs to saw into planks and sawdust to turn into charcoal, as well...

Soul Shard mod and Equivelant exchange OP together?

Soul Stealer IV on a Nanosaber makes short work of "kills required".

    Advanced Solar panel too expensive?

And if you really want solar, you don't exactly need Advanced Solar panels. You could easily wire a single array of nearly 1700 regular IC2 solar panels to your grid with nothing more than tin cable. And with RP2, setting up a line to build solar panels from raw materials isn't exactly rocket...

Ways you play your game that people think is crazy.

My first two large scale projects were a 1:1 scale Roman Colosseum and an underwater dome from bedrock to just over sea level (built into a hollowed out bowl so the dome didn't look like it was in at the bottom of a pit). Both of these were completed in vanilla, the Colosseum I started with...

Thermal Expansions liquid conduits how much fluid can they carries per tick?

The more recent versions of TE will fix that for you. Smelt a block of ore and you get 2 ingots as usual, 1/5th of the time you also get Rich Slag. Smelt 2 dusts (gold in your case since that's what you need) with Rich Slag, instead of sand, and you get 3 ingots. Basically every stack of ore...

Bees in Eternal Day Mystcraft Ages

I've done pretty well with nothing more than a flat, plains, always day age (with an occasional side trip to an age to breed a bee to take back to the plains). It's been fine with the Basic Bees (Common, Cultivated), Industrious Line, Imperial Line, Heroic Line (with one short trip to forest to...

    gregtech-nuclear reactor

Not really needed since you can now directly set the heat level of a reactor to any level you like and just leave it there. There is a design on the IC2 forum that recharges 88 cells per Uranium Cell used and requires no maintenance or special heating. You build it, it heats itself up to 64,000...

    Bee Breeding Thread.

Bees? Egads, do I have bees. I'll pass along some of my tips on improving bees; with an example. First, my usual setup. Four apiaries in a row, all containing pure versions of the starting bee; I normally keep four hives for each bee species unless I'm trying to collect a specific resource...

    Suggest Mods for FTB Here

Nothing stopping a player from just dropping treecapitator in the mods folder. If someone is going to alter a config, they are going to do it. Possible config options are a poor reason to prohibit a mod. Even quicker to just put yourself in creative mode and give yourself stacks of wood, you...

    Iridium Ore

A 64x64 quarry is 16 chunks; off center you could dig out parts of 25 chunks, but that shouldn't affect your average haul of one iridium per 5 chunks. Average iridium for a full sized quarry is 3.2, so you did pretty well there.
