I'm not sure what fixed it but I reinstalled java to 64 bit and the FTB by deleting all the files related to the downloaded mods.

yeah i dissabled Rei's and chicken chunks and still got really laggy or slow after a few seconds of play... gonna try the above code now.. on another note i used to be able to set the GB or MB used by the game through the launcher, but now i can only go up to 1GB... i used to set it to 5GB.

Having the same issue here : (. None of the fixes above work for me. The slow down happens even in new worlds after a few seconds. Both direwolf and minecrack have the same issue.

OP or not, i take the ender chests for example because it just makes it easier to transport stuff. no need to overcomplicate yourself or "study" a guide to build a complicated system that is simply going to do the same thing.....

which one the recycler? if so then just put a few upgrades, it will eat stuff pretty fast. most machines in IC2 take upgrades for speed, power and energy storage.

If u are talking about chest overflow, what Tylor said. Put 2 exiting pipes with an engine on each. I have 4 miners with 4 ender chest and my 2 electric engines are more then enough to pull everything to a diamond chest. I whish highest tier gates would pull stuff faster. Pipes look neater...

i have said before that i use 4 miners. the problem with that is the installation and uninstall of all the wires and machines to move them around. nice~ this would be like a dream come true! XD. thx.

i dont know anything about Red Power. so can you please elaborate how to do you extend the miners range?

ill double check but i think the miner pulls out lead. Which is not IC2 ore. The miner has a shory range. That is one of its problems. That is why i use 4 at the same time.

my vote goes to miners. with quarries and mine turtles you get tons and tons of stones, sand and dirt. you might say, "well i can build some stuff with the stone i get." but trust me, u will have more sand and stone then u can ever use. quarries also are too slow. i'm there to get ores not every...

The only reason i still use a quarries is because they are easy to set up. but miners have a short range and need constant moving around. with a minig turtle i will have the same problem as a quarry, too much cobblestone....

I personally dont want this many stone/dirt/gravel/sand. but there has got to be something efficient to do with then rather then flush it down a void pipe.

I have. and unless u burn nerher rack. u dont produce fast enough. heck even at full power is very slow for alll the stone that is coming in.

This is something troubling me aswell. first, i dont know if it is a bug but the IC2 matter fabricator sometimes doesnt produce matter fast enough even with scrap in it. and secondly, unless you have like three machines (and the power to run em) you still get MUCH more stone then you can burn...
