    The City of Industry

I don't know how I've missed this thread until now, what you've got so far looks awesome. I was the leader of a town on the Nearby Nation server a few months ago and I consider myself pretty good with architecture, particularly detailed stuff with Redpower blocks. I tend to be more into the...

    Buckets/ Keeping full buckets stocked...

Factorization's routers are perfect for this once you can afford them. I use one with an item filter, machine filter and ejector and another with just the first two upgrades. The first one pulls the empty buckets out of my line of mixers and ejects them straight into a liquid transposer full of...

    Oil Spurts and Geyzers

I'm living next to a pretty big ice plains biome and the stuff is everywhere, I think it is more common in certain ExtraBiomesXL biomes. If you're having trouble in the overworld try a few single biome Mystcraft ages and see what you come up with. Desert is a good one to start with.

    Efficient EU Production?

For a more short term solution while you work on biofuel or lava you could grab a chainsaw and go chop down some extrabiomes redwood trees. Plenty of logs to make charcoal or burn straight up and masses of saplings which you can grow more giant trees with and burn for EU as well. Enoch's...

    Railcraft Iron Tanks

Chunk loading and iron tanks is a bit strange sometimes, I had a water tank that would reset to empty every time I went to a Mystcraft age. Putting a world anchor near it solved it though. There's obviously still a few bugs with loading and unloading the tanks so keeping the chunks they're in...

    Petroleum Generator (A Forestry-esque BC/IC crossover mod)

Nice mod, I like everything about it. Well balanced, good recipe and of course oil and Industrialcraft should have gone hand in hand from the start. I mean it's industrial! I hope this makes it into FTB one day.

    Where to begin in modding

    1) Learn a basic programming language 2) Learn Java 3) Make a load of boring, basic programs that have nothing to do with games development 4) Cry because you're still not very good at programming 5) Give up and play MC 6) Learn more Java 7) Mourn the sad death of your social life, continue to...

Luring Chickens? What am I doing wrong?

The chickens hate you. Um I mean... It was changed to seeds in a recent vanilla update :) edit: is a ninja ^^^

    Gun powder generator

Sulfur only generates in extreme hills, it's everywhere hehe. It's the biome of choice for my mining ages. Nice machine though! Gravel as a byproduct can go straight into a rock crusher too if you can afford it. That's what I did with all of mine. Having said that I got lots of gold nuggets and...

    EE3 Discussion/Speculation/Hype

Good post, I like your ideas. The red water certainly does hint at there being some nasty effects to the use of EE 'alchemy' like Thaumcraft. I think it's great that Pahimar can take some inspiration from Azanor's work, TC2 really did nail the magical, arcane feel. Magic mods need some good...

Looking for some hints to improve my sorting system...

Yeah good idea, I've noticed we get a LOT of thread views here against very few posts so there's obviously a lot of people hunting for info!

    Need help please.Electrical engines+Rolling machine

Electrical engines run on Industrialcraft power, you wire them up like a macerator or any other IC2 machine and provide a redstone signal to make the engine produce MJ. There's loads of other options for generating MJ though, look up 'engine' in NEI. You can use vanilla fuels like coal or logs...

    Converting energy

MJ to EU can be done sort of indirectly using bio generators rather than biogas engines, or as you said the magma crucible and/or other methods of lava collection using Buildcraft power. The other way around there's electrical engines from Forestry, which can be tweaked using circuit boards and...

Looking for some hints to improve my sorting system...

This is possibly a bug or at least an unintended flaw but you can get around it. Put a cobblestone structure pipe on the bottom of the chest (or any other side for that matter if you prefer) with your 'items in inventory' gate on it and send a red pipe wire signal to another gate that gives...

    XyCraft

I can't wait to build an epic green and black jungle-tech-fortress-science-lab out of Xycraft blocks, basalt and Redpower emeralds (or should I say green sapphires). It's gonna be soo much cooler than my bog standard stone brick and wood warehouse I'm using at the minute. The spawn prevention of...

    Howdy from Texas

Bit of a double edged sword eh, having children to play games with but also having children to have a break from to play games! :D Learning a load of mods at once is a lot of fun, I felt like a kid in a candy store presented with all those new ores. Enjoy it while you have the time my friend...

    Configs... Making additions.

Hey Diego! I remember you from Nearby Nation a few months back, hope you're well. I think this is a great idea, even some people like myself who are capable of doing this stuff (at a snails pace mind you) will appreciate this as it does eat up a lot of time. Thanks for putting the spreadsheet...

    EE3 Discussion/Speculation/Hype

Yeah as long as there's some form of automatic transmutation there's no point when you can move EMC around in item form. If there's different types of EMC maybe there will be different condenser-like machines which transmute between a limited set of items. If re-balancing EE was up to me that is...
