I've heard other people having issues with hooking up engines directly to machines. Try adding a conductive wooden pipe -> conductive gold pipe -> refinery. It's a little like adding a buffer. Or switch to conduits. Those seem to be better in almost every way.

/thread heheI wonder if the entitys on all your barrels could cause that kind of FPS lag? Also if you connect your barrels and put a few routers touching the edge of your barrel system you can sort everything without any pipes or tubes.

Buildcraft pipes will occasionally drop stuff to the ground for no reason. IMO not reliable, but that's a subjective opinion. Eloraam is MIA? Hmm. RP2 PR6 is a pretty large update, and was released about 2 months ago. Not trying to argue, just stating what I know about RP2.

Damn this is some great information. Since I live on a server right next to a guy who likes to build 100 of anything he needs even if he will only ever use 5 of them I need to tell him to do his thaum in a mystcraft age. lol

Some guy broke the only spawners nearby the local nether portal on my server. Needless to say I was at first shocked and then pissed. I found it weird having to put signs around the spawners saying don't break these other people might need them. lol

I guess it depends. For me the diamonds would be too expensive to waste on this. Plus the fact buildcraft pipes are not very reliable, which is why I rarely use them I guess. lol 1 relay and some tubes seems pretty easy.

Easiest fix: "Fix is to send all your items to a redpower relay. Then connect the relay with redpower tubes to your barrels."
