Simple graphics would have helped but I think the worst part was the mass of leaf decay. I could see a ton of pixels changing on the minimap. I have decided to remove the 5 biomes which spawn those troublesome trees. The decorative logs might be nice but apart from that they won't be missed. :)

How would someone re-create the Beta A GregTech experience with the MindCrack pack? Would we manually have to compare configs or is there a list somewhere that notes the changes and alterations?

Mindcrack seems to be the closest to Beta A so I will be sticking with that. I will miss Portal but RedPower and ExtraBees make up for that.

If you work out where you want items to be and place a single unit of that in each barrel before you run the system you wouldn't need to have diamond pipes. As long as none of the barrels running beneath the (cobble)stone line are empty any items which don't match will simply continue onwards...
