Upon getting newest version via launcher. it crashes my launcher each time. Just an FYI in case others are suffering the same.

Just wanted to update all on the launcher issues. I want to thank everyone for their suggestions, but it seems the only way I can access the server is to go to where the dogs folder is and delete it and then re-download each time. This is frustrating, in case I get dropped or have chunk issues...

I understanding major mining is to be done outside the boundaries of the colony. Can we make bases there as well?

Fae, since I have my plot next to doc's, will that be in the way? I can move if needed, as I am not eve sure where it is in real game life, only on the map.

Well I want to thank everyone for their advice in this launcher issue. I have tried them all and still have the same issues. The only way to access is to completely erase the DotS mod from my PC and restart each time. It doesn't have issues when I use launcher for normal FTB. Sadly this means...

Well after much experimenting, the only way to get the FTB launcher to work is to first delete the Dogs of the State modpack folder, then on the launcher click on it and have it re-install. Seems I must do this every single time of I want to use the launcher. Anyone have any suggestions?

3rd install of Java, 4th of the laucnher. I can't explain what is happening but it just started since I downloaded the new pack. Not blaming anyone or angry, just disappointed after waiting so long that I can't access and re-join you guys. As my launcher is locked completely out with this issue...

I did check the java. I uninstalled and completely reinstalled the newest 64 bit for my system. Still the same issues.

Is anyone else having trouble with the FTB launcher? Today, nearly every time I try to log in, the screen freezes on the Launch page, to the point that I am unable to move to other packs, or even press launch. I have uninstalled and re-downloaded the launcher twice today and still it persists...

Thanks Dan, but I see my problem. While I entered the code, I didn't download the actual pack from the left side panel. Doing it nowDan, Doc, when tying to enter the screen says I am still banned. I will await word from you on changes. Thank you

I would like to thank Doc Hussey for welcoming me back to DotS after a forced time out with TFC. I would also like to state again that I am sorry for my behavior on the TFC server. That mod brought out a manner that is has never been in me before, and I apologize to those players for my attitude...

Why does the server even need a mod (meaning modpack, not meaning moderator)? Why not go back to pure original Minecraft for a break until the FTB updates get done? Mods are fun, yes, but I understand this community has been doing them for a long time. How about a break from them? UPDATED...

Well I dont think disabling dimensions will work. Isn't that where the administration prefers most of the quarry action done? Wiping the dimensions would be a smart plan occassionally

I know the community is waiting on Minecrack to get the update finished, but have you considered the Ultimate modpack? I don't know if it is in the same update status as Minecrack, so don't know if that is a possibility

Agreed with the cooking. Single pieces take too long. But I don't agree with the lava example. If I step or fall in lava, its my goof and I deserve to lose everything. What happened with my ingots could not be 'user error' according to the wikia and videos. So a mod that deliberately does some...
