    Unix sound issues with ubuntu 12.10

    Hi I'm playing around with Ubuntu 12.10 and the issue I have is no sound in any mod pack. I have sound in Minecraft vanilla but not FTB. any ideas would help thank you so much :) pc specs AMD Turion 64 X2 mobile technology RM-72 / 2.1 GHz 4 Gbs DDR2 800 MHz / PC2-6400 ATI Radeon 3100

    FTB not reading full RAM help

    Hi I just installed FTB on my laptop and the launcher isn't reading my full ram. I have 3gbs of ram as per my systems menu in windows and my BIOS this is making FTB crash any ideas how I can fix this? the laptop is running windows xp 32bit

    I think you maybe right about the server pack, after the java update it got better but It still not right. I can really see it when I use water in farms or lava, they don't move smooth and I get holes sometimes

    EDIT Issues got better with a reinstall of Java from Java 6 to java 7 64bit but It still isn't right. I will say it's playable :) hello, I wouldn't really say its lag, Its more like all the players/animals/mobs seem to teleport step to step but the world seems(no block lag) fine. I've tried...
