    What's new in modded minecraft today?

    Having a look at the Team CoFH website, there is no mention of the update you reported. Was it taken down?

    Read the spoilers in the first post on that thread. Forestry is pretty much gone. RC/BC will be in a pack somewhere.

    It's showing the latest version of Tinkers Construct as 1.5.5.4 with the same changelog as the 1.5.5.3 version posted above.

    Unsupported Direwolf 20: 1.6.4 {PUBLIC BETA}

    I believe some mods have had issues with the latest version of java (1.8), better to stick with 1.7.0_51, 64-bit version of course.

    FTB - Curse Update

    The issue people have is that Slow has said, that "This means that the Curse Client will need to be able to offer similar functionality to what we have now.", and that functionality as many see it, is cross platform support. Linux, OS X and Windows, just like the Mojang launcher has. Personally...

    Unsupported Direwolf 20: 1.6.4 {PUBLIC BETA}

    In your initial post you only mentioned 1.0.16, the description was identical to the issue with the version of Hats in that release, but has been fixed in the later release of the pack. Post the crash-report for the 1.0.18 pack, so people can look at it and see what caused your crash in that.

    Unsupported Direwolf 20: 1.6.4 {PUBLIC BETA}

    The fix is to update to the recommended version of the mod pack (1.0.18). Your world loss was caused by the Hats mod crashing. There is a newer bug fixed version in the 1.0.18 version of the mod pack.

    DW20 crash, world gone

    You may want to disable the Hats mod in the mod pack. I've had the same crash twice, and the errorlogs indicate it was the hat mod. Looking at the two versions of the Hat mod after the one included in the 1.0.16 version of the pack, both are trying to fix the issue. The latest one (2.1.4) dated...
