    However, now that you mention it, changing the launcher's "Install Folder" in the options, and kicking off with a fresh install does solve the problem for me. Thanks dude. [Edit] And that, thanks Kah.

    No, I don't have the server, I'm not trying to run a server, just to launch the client. I would expect it to have everything it needs downloaded when I select the version I want?
