I second this request. This would hugely benefit those people that are stuck on poor Internet speeds. There have been countless times that a FTB pack update has not worked because the upload missed a few bytes of a file, causing the download to corrupt.

From quickly browsing the last few pages of this thread, I think that a lot of people have forgotten that these mod developers make these mods entirely out of their own spare time. They are not employed to do it, they do it because they love minecraft and adding their own content to the game...

Well that has exhausted my list of possible fixes, last resort for me is to do a force update of the pack. If that doesn't work, manually install the most recent version of Thaumic Tinkerer (and possibly Thaumcraft 4.1 as well, depending on what version of TC4.1 Thaumic TInkerer bases itself on).

It's iChun's Hats mod. This has been a prominent issue with the packs and no-one can really discover why it is happening. Just disable the hats mod and it should resolve the issue. Remember to make backups in case your world becomes corrupted!

Common practice is to do a manual copy-paste of your world folder to an alternate location in the event of world corruption. At least you know for next time!
