How to work an IC2 Energy-O-Mat (Direwolf20 pack)

    1. Hold an item that needs to be charged in your hand. 2. step on mat 3. ??? 4. Profit.

We should be able to breed/genetically engineer combat bees.

Heroic bees on a frame ship.

    Steam Boilers and Steam turbines.

Only 80mB/t. The key is to remember that the tesseract doesn't actually DO anything. It neither pulls from the boiler nor pushes anywhere else. It just transfers at whatever rate the stuff was already flowing. And boilers only pump at 80mB/t per block. If you are now wondering how a tesseract...

    Steam Boilers and Steam turbines.

    1) Tesseracts 2) Power Converter's Steam producers* *Granted, I cannot imagine why anyone would do this, but it's a possibility.

    Steam Boilers and Steam turbines.

Not to nitpick, but that's not quite true. There's no limit going into an unpowered liquiduct. A powered liquiduct (the one with an arrow) does have the limit you mentioned though.

    Impregnable bees

Diamonds are always nice to have. Ruby as noted is good for chrome. Ruby and Sapphire are both useful for energy crystals and lapotron crystals respectively. Gemmed tools are perfect for turtles. Then there's the purely decorative uses. It's not that you need absolutely huge numbers of them...

    Impregnable bees

Blame gregtech for that. If gregtech isn't installed they just drop gems. Although the ruby bees are still worth something since you have to electrolyze ruby dust to get chrome. But yeah, the gregtech nerf to diamond bees is some real bullshit. Better off just replacing it with a glittering...

    Impregnable bees

Woo, lapis bees. Big freaking deal. Come back when you have a gold chest filled with species serums. There's a sense of accomplishment and reward to planning and building a breeding machine that works step by step to a goal (having every bee and every trait) that just waiting for rng can never...

    Forge: My list of grievances

You have to love how you can tell that someone is an idiot just by certain words. Like 'elitist'. I've have never read an argument, on any subject, in which the person using the word wasn't massively wrong.

IC2 is slowly dying out ?

142 iridium isn't a lot. The Gravichestplate alone costs 84 iridium, and you still have to make the rest of the quantum gear. Not to mention any nuclear/fusion reactor pieces. And anyway, the benefit of being able to generate everything from UUmatter is that you can make actual factories. You...

    Forestry Multi-Block Farms?

The fertilizer is there to get it to work at all. Basically each crop needs a specific amount of water and a specific amount of fertilizer per tick for the farm to harvest/replant it. The amount of water can get pretty high if there is no rain. I've heard that it also needs something like 75MJ/t...

Individual timers, or central timers and wireless transmitters

Ah, I see what you guys did. You set up a specific timer interval for each frequency. If i get ever get around to doing this, I'd probably use a program with an input variable for the time and have a different computer for each timer.

IC2 is slowly dying out ?

Um what? have you actually tried the recipes for the MPS? You might be confused by thinking that the base gear is the whole armor. It's not. The actually useful bits can get quite expensive. For example, to get diamond armor level armor, you need diamond plating that takes 5 diamonds apiece...

IC2 is slowly dying out ?

IC2 isn't dying out, but IMO it could use a good revamp and update. Right now, IC2 seems to be heading in a direction where it's basically only useful as precursor to GregTech. Which is great for people who like GregTech, but would make it worthless for anyone who doesn't like GregTech. What...

    Extra Bees Genetic Engineering Guide

Because it's faster and easier to just do it the natural way. Let's say you have a set of tropical drones and your buddy wants a couple. You can either: 1) blow all the drones on making a template then spend a bunch of energy and DNA on infusing the template into the new bee 2) put a princess...

    [q]How to get imperial bees?

Ok, so here's how the process should go. You have a beealyzer right? Analyze your current set of noble and cultivated bees. Take one pair of pure Noble bees and one pair of pure Cultivated bees and put each pair in an apiary that's automated to continually cycle. You do this with a wooden pipe...

    computercraft program not working

OP, take a look at line 14. It looks like you meant to type "inBridgeMenu" For your actual problem, I suspect what's happening is a conversion from int to string or vice-versa. Trying replacing the variable "selectedItem" with just the number 1 and see what happens.

    Gregtech Advanced Regulators

Yeah the way AE interface crafting works is that it sends the total for each item in the recipe at a time. So if you request 2 stacks of bronze for example, it will send 6 stacks of copper first, then 2 stacks of tin. Which, in a machine with only 2 slots results in both slots being filled with...
