    Tbh the MFR config file doesnt have many options at all... you cant even adjust how much energy the machines take. (at least in the 1.4.7 config, idk about the 1.5 one) forestry on the other hand has a good config

    the best energy source is probably lava, crafting a geothermal is like crafting a solar panel that is much easier to craft and outputs 20 times more energy. either that or a treefarm powering a boiler.

    yes, if you feed energy into an mfe and then run cable you will have less loss, however if you generate more than the mfe can output you're better off putting the mfe's in a line, altho that will increase the loss.
