What does YOUR Power Room look like?

You managed to make your Boiler room symmetrical. That's more impressive-looking than the swarm of mutant squid crawling through a ravine that I've got.

    Golem-Powered Builds

You misread that a bit. I was using that as part of the nonsensical/unbalanced examples that I'm not expecting, if Tallow Golems come to be more versatile liquid-luggers.

    Wisp combat

It has more than enough juice to take down the Dragon. Doesn't seem to have any effect on the Crystals, though.

Magic World - Thaumcraft 3: Best way to create/combine nodes

The workings of Nodes is the one thing about Thaumcraft that confounds me. Is it just me, or do Pure Nodes seem to "cleanse themselves of Flux" mostly by shedding it to neighboring Nodes?

    Golem-Powered Builds

Can't believe I hadn't thought of this before, but I discovered today that one Perceptive Wooden Golem is better than and much more compact than a dozen Obsidian Pipes when it comes to automation overflow.

    FTB Pack Energy Efficiency

If we want to get more precise, I suspect that the output from a 2x2x2 Low-Pressure Boiler burning a stack of Coal Coke may be exactly 3 million MJ, if it's already up to temperature. When I tested with Energy Cells, I had started from cold and it was only a negligible ways away from topping off...

Best way to transport lava from the nether?

Hot damn. I wasn't aware you could reverse the Liquid Transposer. Magmatic Engines just got a lot more viable for me, thanks.

Best way to transport lava from the nether?

When Redpower's included you can rig up some Deployers with some Pipe/Tube shenanigans and a couple Ender Chests to transfer Lava from a Pump and Tank in the Nether to an Overworld Tank pretty easily. Until then, I believe you're stuck with melting down Netherack in a Magma Crucible, or learning...

    FTB Pack Energy Efficiency

A LOT. Creosote Oil isn't a good fuel at all. I haven't gotten far into Forestry myself, but I see a few people firing up with Biofuel on my server. If it has even a quarter the heat value of Buildcraft Fuel it's definitely a better choice than Creosote Oil.

    FTB Pack Energy Efficiency

So you're using Coal Coke in IC2 Generators and Buildcraft Engines? Go Railcraft. Even single-chamber High-Pressure Boilers hooked up to Commercial Steam Engines will beat Stirling Engines four times over in output and don't burn through the Coke near as fast. A 2x2x2 Low-Pressure Boiler can...

    [16x] Familiar yet Different [1.6.X-1.7.X][FTB][Dead]

Nice set, and you have got to be the fastest-updating texture pack artist I've seen.

[W.I.P] Feed The Textures - A FTB Texturepack

I like the borders and simple style a lot, it's got its own appeal and everything's as easy or easier to recognize for what it is than in Vanilla, except for the regular Brick. Something more along the lines of your Stone Brick would be great. I'll most likely be using it once you have a full...

    Golem-Powered Builds

It seems that they'll use stairs without incident if only one is using the stairs at a time, so you can probably work it out just with proper Marker placement. At least I never see them fall off the stairs in my Crucible chamber, and there's three floors of Warded Jars in there. But any time you...

    Golem-Powered Builds

I absolutely love the Straw Golems, never again will I have to clutter my fields with Block Breakers and tubes. I hadn't given much thought on automating the Infernal Furnace yet, beyond placing a Hungry Chest right in front of it and a Brain in a Jar right beside that. But after seeing your...
