    [1.7.10][LISTED] InfiTech 2 Modpack v3.2.21 [HQM][GregTech balanced hard-mode modpack]

Impressive. However, do you know about the existence of the chest buffer? It holds as many items as a vanilla chest, and by configuring the output face with a screwdriver you can program the number of items pulled out at once. If you change the output stacksize to 9 and place it next to the...

Sorry can someone please comment on this? It's the final obstacle I have before I can start using the turbines full on.

    1) How do you power your octadic-upgraded farming station though? Even without any capacitor, chopping down the wood takes an immense chunk out of the machine's energy buffer. This gets worse if the farm is 'overclocked' aka tree growth is sped up. 2) I believe fir trees can't be grown in the...

Oh well looks like most people grow their tree farms using magic, which I probably will never download. This probably means that I am most likely gonna struggle through MV age in future worlds even with the Pyrolyse Oven as I have no steady source of wood - maybe I should use Minetweaker to...

Wow I learnt quite a lot looking at that setup, though what do you mean by flowcontrollers? Unfortunately I do not have access to lamps of growth, so I need to rely on fertiliser. Is this fertiliser you speak of from Forestry and can be accepted by the farming station? And also I'm curious can...

Additionally I'm now testing the large plasma turbine. I can't simulate a flow rate of 7.8125mB/t of helium plasma, so I'm using a fluid regulator with 7mB/t, feeding into a large plasma turbine with a small fluxed electrum turbine. Also, I found that the optimal plasma flow on the turbine...

This 800hU/s reactor was just for testing purposes, but I don't mind finding a couple better designs too. I'm trying to find those that produce a steady, well-rounded number of heat though so I can better fine-tune the system. Sorry let me clarify here. My current intention was to with my test...

I've spent the entirety of today building to test a Fluid Reactor => LHE => Large Turbine system. Learned/Wish to ask a few new things today. 1) Reactor: So it appears that Thorium fuel rods release 4 times less heat and have 2.5 times the durability of regular Uranium fuel rods in the fluid...

O.o so it's only used for PneumaticCraft? Or I is there a use for within GT alone?

Does anyone know of any use for Epoxid? I can't seem to find a use for it at all...

Should be Extra Utilities if I remember correctly.

I can't check now but I believe it's a 500EU/t recipe. Make sure you have the proper energy hatch and a suitable power supply.

I did wait for perhaps a minute or two to pass before everything sort of stabilised out and these readings are more or less what I have. Also I should add that only 200mB/t of steam is being transferred from the LHE to the turbine due to the nature of the ender fluid conduits I'm using. This...

    [1.7.10][LISTED] InfiTech 2 Modpack v3.2.21 [HQM][GregTech balanced hard-mode modpack]

Alright so I'm just starting to try out the fluid reactor => large heat exchanger => large turbine system, but I'm getting kinda baffled - the system works sorta fine but the numbers are wonky as hell. My test reactor is outputting a steady 800hU/s as shown here...

Ahhh I see. I'm pretty sure though that both the large steam turbine and the EBF's description indicate 3x3x4 despite their different dimensions - I guess that's what threw me off. Thanks Blood!

@Pyure here are the screenshots of all four sides. I'm doing this in a test world, with GT5.08.30.

Guys I'm having some issue with the large GT turbine - I followed the controller instructions and placed the controller itself at the front centre second level, the input hatch on the left centre second level, the output hatch on the right centre second level, the maintenance hatch on the right...

Is there not a pyrolusite vein containing grossular, spessartine, pyrolusite and tantalite in this pack? Pyrolusite can be smelted directly into manganese and spessartine can be electrolysed to give the same - I've always been swimming in manganese. Consulting the configs it seems that this...

If you have nothing important in that chunk, I believe you can use MCEdit to delete the chunk and upon loading the game will regenerate it for you. I've used it to take care of corrupted chunks on multiple occasions, though MCEdit controls are being annoying in my opinion.
