I have tested it, and found that in my experience /tps is total BS and is never accurate.

SSDs are just overall better. Without a semi-decent HDD, even a pregenerated map can lower the tps. I use Intel Xeon E3 1245v2 without overclocking, and it runs 60 people just fine. I have also used that cpu (Have it in 2 computers next to me), it will run 20 if certain precautions are done...

I have 16 gigs dedicated to my monster server, but i only use 2. And the /gc command comes from essentials. Which shows tps, enitities, uptime, mem usage, and loaded chunks for all worlds. All of which are accurate readings.

Yup.. I am still getting used to it. So much power, but so little space. I mean.. You could go with the HDD disks they have, but you would need to pre-generate the world and risk tps drops when players do too much or get to end-game. I have an 8k radius map, with 2 mining worlds (not generated)...

With just 5 people, you will have no issues at all if you can pre-generate the world. Even though an SSD would be better, that HDD will do just fine.

Very odd, are you using SSD or HDD? If you are using a low-grade SSD, or a HDD, when players explore or teleport, this may cause the tps drop. As for opis, do /opis_start wait 250 ticks, then do /opis_te. Anything over 50 is not good. From what i see, you should not be having any tps drops due...

Server will run ~20 people just fine. The HDD will limit you a bit, but if you take the time to pre-generate the world, you should be totally fine. The players will get extreme tps drops when exploring if you do not do this. You can pre-generate the world using MCPC (Which is a bukkit-forge.jar)...

It is just honest. We keep that up to date and list everything, including the normal stuff.. Plus some of that is banned due to it causing corrupted chunks or major issues due to the modpack.
