    Detecting Full Barrels

    1) Hook a RP tube up to your cobblestone barrel, and pipe it to your quarry. 2) hook a filter up to the bottom of the barrel, ticking once a second. 3) Pipe that shit into the trash Are you a bad enough dude to live without cobblestone?

    Is energy from lava appropriate?

The beta pack is still on an older version of minecraft. We're 1.4 to the current 1.7, which will have vanilla ender chests in it, among other things.

    Is energy from lava appropriate?

They're both present, as i understand. The big difference is that vanilla ender chests work very differently. Instead of encoding each chest to a specific inventory, the vanilla chest gets encoded to whichever player opens it. So when you hook a machine up to a vanilla EC, it doesn't know which...

    Long distance Blulectricity...

Trufax: the power lines you see do not have any insulation, as the additional weight and cost inherent would be unfeasible.

    Is energy from lava appropriate?

one pearl, two blaze rods. (possibly a diamond?) definitely not as expensive as you'd think.

    Is energy from lava appropriate?

IMO, you can basically balance out lava production in one step: When you unload lava in a transposer, you lose the cell/can/bucket. Lava in vanilla is the highest power fuel source, but using it consistently gets expensive. For the rate of return, i'd figure losing the container applies well...

    Is energy from lava appropriate?

Indeed; but the automation is moreso a setup cost of the system, neither of which are what i would call "terribly expensive". The difference is that you still eventually need an input of materials (in this case, sand, dirt) rather than the 0 material input needed to sustain a lava pump. In...

    Is energy from lava appropriate?

True, a forestry tree farm has about the same set-up cost of a nether lava system, but the important distinction is that a tree farm might require user input (read: humus input, log removal, energy input) maybe once every couple days, less if you automate it somewhat. A lava pipe is something i...

    Is energy from lava appropriate?

Id say that the biggest downside is that it's a "set and forget" system for generation of very significant amounts of energy. I'm not necessarily against lava use for power, but it's kind of hard to justify being able to take it from the nether. Lava is very high energy, compared to other fuel...

Whereas i, on the other hand, apply a mining operation best described as "raping the earth", and an animal enclosure best described as "a concentration camp for animals".

Mods you've got working with FTB

Got dynmap running on my server, though i have a sneaking suspicion that there's a memory leak in the interaction that keeps burning up the virtual memory and killing the process. It could also be the 600 pending tile renders that exist for almost every world we have, including the mystcraft ones.

I think relays can produce a redstone signal when they back up. That being true, you can pipe your items through a relay, and shut off the circuit when the relay blocks up.

What am I missing? (lava pumping station)

You don't even need a relay, unless your system's using more than a stack of cells, in which case the relay would need to be on the receiving side somewhere. But yeah, just hook that pipe straight onto the transposer, and make sure it's set to output from that side.

What am I missing? (lava pumping station)

You don't need a filter to output from a TE machine. they output to pipes automatically.
