    The Fallen Kanade apparently only works on players, I've never seen it work on mobs. Also it needs mana to work, which I've been having *some* difficulty providing regularly.     Lol thanks! I have the glowstone glass at the top so that the beacon lights from the tier 5 beacons shoot through them and into the sky. It should look amazeballs.

    I have no idea if the item grate jams up. I am moderately advanced in Thaumcraft (Managed to snag two sinister nodes in jars and have my first node stabilizer) and can make straw golems. I think the golem thing would be better than a bajillion expensive hoppers.
