    Balances

Enderium: I wouldn't say it's easy (although definitely a lot easier than Awakened Draconium), although I agree that ExtraTiC makes enderium really strong for what it is. Signalum: I have a signalum crossbow myself and it's ridiculous. I'm not against there being a material with such stats, but...

Will this PC enough for playing FTB modpacks with the least lag?

If you already have a laptop that's good enough for school, then keep that and use it for school and get a desktop for games. If you have no computer at all, then you'll have to look at your budget and decide if you want to spend a lot on a laptop that can handle Infinity or if you are fine with...

Signs That You Play Too Much Minecraft

I like how the thread is derailed. You can also break nodes like you would break blocks so if a hungry node is undesired, you can carefully figure out a way to approach it (probably with lots of obsidian, or maybe pistons pushing cobblestone or something) and remove it by hand (not sure how far...

Those little things that irk you about Minecraft

At those kinds of pressures you can no longer talk about "steam" and "water" as separate things since you have a supercritical fluid on your hands.

WHY ARE ZOMBIE PIGMEN ATTACKING ME?

The solution is to switch to beef ;) (inb4 a mod adds cowmen that aggro you when you eat beef)

Will this PC enough for playing FTB modpacks with the least lag?

For Minecraft, a fast dual core is better than a slow quad core. You most likely wouldn't gain much (if anything) with that computer besides a GPU. Just note that a desktop will generally have more power for the price compared to a laptop. If you want a laptop that can run FTB Infinity well...

Will this PC enough for playing FTB modpacks with the least lag?

Processor would probably be slow but usable. I got decent performance on a Sandy Bridge laptop i7 (from 2011), and your somewhat newer Ivy Bridge i5 won't be much slower (or might even be similar in performance) since Minecraft doesn't multithread much anyways. Although my base wasn't really far...

    Request Item Conduits and Apiaries

The advantage of the distance-based sorting on ducts is that, by using dense pipes, you can have each apiary/alveary see itself as the highest-priority destination, the chest as medium priority (one dense pipe), and other apiaries/alvearies as lowest priority (two dense pipes). Ender IO only has...

    Request Item Conduits and Apiaries

Using Ender IO makes sorting a bit tougher since you can't sort based on distance. What I would do is: Attach two item conduits to each Apiary. One item conduit from each Apiary should all connect together as one network, while the other item conduit from each Apiary should be isolated and...

    PRC digital timer display?

Generally a seven segment encoder takes a four bit binary integer and converts it into a seven bit output where each bit corresponds to one of the "segments" on the seven segment display (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seven-segment_display). For example, if you input 0 (0b0000), there are two...

Connecting Railcraft Tanks to AE2 ME Networks

Currently I use P2P mainly to cram more channels through a quantum link (128 instead of 32; in theory it can be expanded to 512). Otherwise I just run dense cables and try to group things such as my autocrafting in eights. In general I try to group things (e.g. storage, ore processing...

I Derp, You Derp, We all Derp, What's your's?

It worked with 12 Withers before I broke it with 64. I replaced the shield with the EnderIO reinforced obsidian since those don't run out of energy.

I Derp, You Derp, We all Derp, What's your's?

Thinking that a small RFTools shield cage/grinder would hold in 64 Withers. Had to revert my world (fortunately I backed up a few minutes before attempting to stuff 64 withers into the cage).

Can a Tinkers Crossbow bolt have luck ?

It applies when you shoot as well. It's not like quartz where it only applies to melee when on the crossbow itself but applies to shooting on the bolts.

Can a Tinkers Crossbow bolt have luck ?

Put luck on the crossbow itself.

    Primordial Pearl go boom..... (Thaumcraft)

Yes, most uses of the pearl don't consume it. The main uses that do are with a node and making the Primal Crusher (which is an infusion recipe with the pearl in the middle). My suggestion is that, when you get one, make the stuff you plan on using that doesn't consume it first (e.g. advanced...

    Demon Invasion in Blood Magic...

On the top of the altar that is generated, there is a "Demon Portal" block. To stop the invasion, destroy this block. If you want to start a new demon invasion, you'll have to collect all the resources from scratch, though (ritual stones, reagents, LP, demon sacrifice). I don't think the demon...

    Demon Invasion in Blood Magic...

I fired one off in a Mystcraft world, although it's not too big so far. I've noticed the following: The structures and roads spawn on the surface, in a similar manner to Vanilla villages except that they grow over time rather than on worldgen. I don't know if there are any hidden structures...

    Infinity Bees lolwut

I agree that there's some difference. The intention of Infinity Hard Mode, from what I've heard so far, is not to make it harder to survive, but to make progression more challenging, making it more difficult to access the more powerful endgame stuff. Basically, the way I see it, you can have (or...

    Infinity Bees lolwut

Well, they used the feature in Gendustry that allows you to add custom bees and combs using the config.
