    Dartcraft, why even?

And you need a power supply for that quarry too. 50MJ/t isn't cheap or easy. 60MJ/t if you're going through a tesseract (and then you need all the infrastructure for that) You can run the quarry for less MJ per tick but then it's slower, and then you're waiting on it as well and the drill at...

    Dartcraft, why even?

The only tome you need is Tier 4. You can solo the wither (with punching), with a Tier 4 tome. You can punch TiC nether armor to mine it, without any tome at all. Tier5 lets you reach the absurdities of Fortune IV on your drill, but you don't need it. After Tier 4, it's fluff. Tier5 for ender...

    Easy Aluminium In FTB Unleashed?

Food bushes from Natura do spread. Ore bushes from Tinker's Construct do not. Light level 11 or less, and will not grow or allow to be placed if exposed to the sky no matter the light level. They do now. It's recent enough it might not be in FTB though.

    Dartcraft, why even?

Poppy and I don't play on a server, or with a modpack, that has solar power other than the single base 1EU/t IC2 panel and the two mekanism ones. If you want to lay the blame on MPS though, by all means. I won't stop you.

    Dartcraft, why even?

Actually, I quite like the idea of Dartcraft. It's just so easy it takes over the entire game. What I don't like are singular best methods for anything. After a big chunk of bug fixing, maybe some realizations that some intents are simply wrong (Fortune V, for one) and retuning the recipes...

    Dartcraft, why even?

Your block breaker frame won't come close either. I wasn't wearing infinite power, but it would have drained the tool if that's all there was. You'll need a batpack. I was wearing an adv nano (with no infinite power generating MPS)

    Dartcraft, why even?

I agree with that, but I make the comparison because people keep trying to claim that high end TC tools will beat dartcraft ones. It's simply not true, and I presume anybody making that statement doesn't know that dartcraft tools including the power drill all have an area of effect mode and...

    Getting ahead of the competition

Get DartCraft installed, but don't tell anybody else. By the time they find out, you'll be making storage blocks out of netherstars.

    Dartcraft, why even?

And both Xeno and Pahimar have publicly stated that EE2 was overpowered and took over any game they were installed at (paraphrasing) Furthermore, both of them have made specific efforts to balance their next-generation mods, although amusingly one of the worst abuses possible comes from the...

    Dartcraft, why even?

    a) MPS itself is pretty damn OP, but MPS can't let you get 60 netherstars from a single wither kill. 2) Nothing in the game is faster than a power drill in area effect mode, and with Dart armor and magnet you don't need to worry about lava while doing it. III) That Dartcraft engine can run the...

    Dartcraft, why even?

Hahah, I never thought about the fortune 93493284234 effect applying to netherstars. Note that that armor only needs a Tier 6 tome, and could be brought down to Tier 4 with the removal of Sturdy and Bleed. In short, with some effort and a clear goal you should be able to reach it within an...

A moral dilemma - was I right or wrong

I don't approve of people putting up 16 chunk quarries, no. I also think people who use them on the surface should be drawn and quartered. That says nothing about quarries in general. Just the poor uses they're put too. I don't play, and never have played, with powerconverters. But I...

A moral dilemma - was I right or wrong

You're wrong. I have nothing against quarries, and sabotaging would be griefing. It's just not sabotage to mine in the locale of a quarry. The quarry continues to operate, and whatever slow speed somebody has decided to power it at - since a reasonable speed and none of this would have came up.

A moral dilemma - was I right or wrong

The machine isn't slow, the chunks loaded are. All those blocks ticking show up as those individual blocks, not as whatever is keeping it force loaded. Average, all, or single? Cuz I've never seen the average that high or anywhere near it for anything. I don't think I've seen an Average...

A moral dilemma - was I right or wrong

I don't believe this situation is punishment. I just don't recognize a claim of ownership, particularly as you've stated such ownership starts at "putting down the landmarks" I can make 1000 landmarks right quick.... But yes, people running 16 chunk quarries should be punished. I can't even...

A moral dilemma - was I right or wrong

Two wrongs, etc. But making yourself a target doesn't mean building poorly should be rewarded either. Definitely since the shared resources of the server itself are being used far more by that poorly built quarry, running slow, and loading more chunks. As a tangent, I do think that easy...

A moral dilemma - was I right or wrong

Ok. I've actually already dug to bedrock there though. So I'm not sure what that will give you. Have Bores turned into MFR lasers? Should they run underpowered or excessively large quarries? I'd say no.

A moral dilemma - was I right or wrong

The surface, sure. Since landscape is itself a major reason for placing houses where they are. This whole "I own everything for sixty blocks under my house" is kinda silly as well. I'd suggest anybody who felt that way to actually dig it up so it becomes a moot point.

A moral dilemma - was I right or wrong

IRL or in the game? I do think even the simplest shack - in Minecraft - is more effort to build than a quarry and should come with commensurate protections.
