Exactly. This is also why Seared Brick can be a perfectly acceptable decorative block as well as a functional piece of a smeltery - the only block that actually checks for a multiblock structure is the controller.

Run it through the beealyzer and it'll tell you.

Even the smallest possible size of MAC is effectively equivalent to 54 auto-crafting tables which require 0 additional piping to work. My personal favorite setup for the MAC uses 9 pattern providers and 9 crafting CPUs and thus acts like 486 auto-crafting tables that craft at a rate of 10 crafts...

Hmm, using the plant-based fuel generator without using any plants - an interesting proposition. However, I'm afraid if you're just using mod drops, you've hit the limit. With a little luck you could get Valiant bees from hives. Those give cocoa and can be bred into dye producing bees...

I suspect it'd work if you have your SSP worlds open to LAN, though since it's SSP, would it not be easier to use NEI to just get the resources you're after? EDIT: just checked the official thread and this question is actually covered explicitly. In response to "does this work in SSP?":

I've had this occur in Unleashed as well. I actually suspect it's a bug in Tinker's Construct since (as you pointed out) it also resets extra health. It's no much of a bother, though, so I've never actually attempted to confirm that suspicion by disabling TiC and testing if that behavior...

    Trouble getting Oily Bees

For what it's worth, I find that the absolute best bee resource out there is the official wiki. You can find it at the top of the page, but here's a link to their beekeeping info.

    Looking for base design?

Go look through the community showcase forum - there's a lot of inspiration to be found over there. I tend to do lots of separate buildings dedicated to a single thing in a big base complex. It gives more opportunity to try out different building styles and presents plenty of opportunity for...

Sengir is way ahead of you. The Arborist's Chest is exactly the same as the Apiarist's Chest, but stores saplings instead of bees. It's got 125 slots and is cheap to make. That said, 90% of saplings you get from tree breeding aren't particularly useful, so I'd honestly throw them in a recycler...

    Bee breading punnett square calculator

Just a general rule of thumb for situations like this where attempting to stabilize the genome can lead to further mutations: 0-1 alleles of the desired species => use frames to encourage mutation 2-3 alleles => don't use mutating frames, just let the genome stabilize Once you have 2-3 of the...

This is because a watering can just simulates bone meal, which doesn't affect any of those things. If you've got Reliquary in your pack, Lilypads of Fertility are pretty easy ways to speed up growth. However, by far the easiest way to speed up production of those crops is to just expand your...

Are you using a mac? If so, you may need to hold down the fn key to use the F keys as standard F keys rather than their specialized functions (i.e. iTunes control, volume/brightness, etc). There's also an option in system preferences to swap F key behavior (operate normally as standard F keys...

Killing items faster when they fall out of pipes is to make people properly hook up their piping systems and account for both overflow and unexpected items. It's pretty optional, though. Limiting the number of items per pipe was inspired by you saying you wanted to enforce physical transport...

    Monitoring player locations

The beauty of the vanilla player detectors is that they are based entirely around the proximity of a player. Mobs only move if they are within a certain distance (I want to say like 32 blocks?) from a player regardless of whether they are loaded or not.

-Doesn't some mod include the option to disable the enchanting table? -I'd also recommend employing a max stack size config (if available). -Set the world to UHC mode (no natural regen - vanilla option). -Are water mills still in IC2-exp? I never use them, so I haven't checked. If they are...

    Monitoring player locations

You could set up a vanilla player detector (use a snow golem with a piston+pressure plate rig) at a sufficiently shallow depth that they will detect a whole chuck of the surface. You won't be able to tell who is activating it, but you can tell where every player is. EDIT: obviously, you'd have...

The last few weeks I've gotten really seriously into my main Unleashed world. I've messed around in modded 1.6 a bunch, but I'm waiting for Monster to get out of beta before starting a serious world. In the interim, however, I've decided to actually try to "finish" a world for once. I've never...

Sounds like you're having trouble connecting to the minecraft login servers. Assuming you're able to resume normal web browsing activity even while you get this message, it's possible the login servers happen to be down (double check at help.mojang.com). If that's not the case I'd assume some...
