I just downloaded the Painterly Pack and replaced the GUI in JS with the one from there , they are close to the same style and are much easier to read.

Java Version: java-1.5.0 I would try updating to Java 1.6 at least and see if that helps.

Yes it works just fine, i'm currently using it with no problems.

What i did to keep playing was just copy the contents of the magic_world folder into the voxel folder (after deleting the insta and minecraft folder from the voxel folder) and from the launcher load up the voxel pack and tell it no when it asks if you want to update ...seems to work fine for me.

Really how hard is it to use Google to find which mod a certain item comes from, all i usually do is a Google search for "Minecraft and then the item i am hunting for". If a person can't be bothered to take the 5 mins it takes to look something up , why should the web site do it for you.

I don't see why they owe you any love at all ...you aren't paying them in any way, but you are playing a mod pack they have put their personal time and energy into so that others might enjoy themselves. I think you should just be grateful they take the time to let us know what is going on in...

I used to make giant redstone engines to run my quarries just for fun . It can be done but it used to be really expensive and not worth the work required lol.

Try putting your FTB folder in a folder in the base directory of your hardrive, something like c:/FTB and try running it sometime the laucher has problems with directory paths that have spaces in them.
