How would one go about uninstalling said Java 6? And what version of Java should I reinstall? I heard that if you install Java 7 then you have to go in and manually change all of the mods or something.

I've deleted my launcher, folder, and every pack and mod on my computer four times. It is the same problem every time.

I have a similar issue, but for me it doesn't even get to the mojang screen, it just closes the launcher and console and quits the program after a flash of yellow text in the console and I don't even have time to catch it to put it on pastebin.

All packs "crash" for me ("crash" not being a minecraft crash, but both the launcher and the game window disappear), this includes unleashed and unhinged and DW20 1.5.2. I have entered the beta codes for Unleashed and Unhinged, but they still don't work. I am on a Mac. can anybody help me out...
