Scrap that! Deleting the entire FTB folder seemed to fix it! I don't know why the force update didn't, if that essentially does the same thing.

I had an efficieny 4, fortune 3 pickaxe and an electric jetpack among other things in my inventory. If you were willing to return just those two items after you've wiped my inventory, I'd give that a go. If you can't do that, I'll look to doing something else. I don't see how it could be Java...

I'm hopefully going to be able to get on and check out the server this afternoon :) While I remember, are there any settings I need to change in my own config file for FTB? I only ask as I know the server has disabled expensive recipies, and I don't know whether I need to do the same to stop...
