Barring one or two items, Redpower seems kinda irrelevant these days. I'm sure if the mod continues to be neglected then other mods will co-opt the last remaining bits of RP's functionality and it'll vanish from the modpack list for good.

Well, if you actually want to use it for something productive, make Alkahest. It's insanely expensive, but it'll turn a stack of cobble into a single piece of redstone. At least that's better than deleting it. :p

The latter kinda depends on whether RP2 makes it into 1.6. If it does, then you're gonna have a world-gen issue upgrading from 1.5 to 1.6 as a 1.5 world won't contain marble, basalt or nikolite.
