So, whats the best way to harvest a wheat field this size?

You could probably use golems walking over presure plates trying to reach it as the trigger... On replanting, farms /grow/ over time, not shrink (presuming ground is hoed) So long as an empty space has wheat next to it, that wheat will eventually give multiple seeds, allowing the golem to...

    gregtech block breaker nerf

That reflection is /needed/ says less about Greg and more about how toxic some of the mod authors and the community as a whole has gotten. You can't have a world in which it is OK for RP to use such terms and it it not OK for greg to use reflection in his /own mod/. They're either both being...

Um, how is a person getting 5 saplings from one tree and what I said related?

GROWLE'S IMPROMPTU GUIDE TO SOULS, RANDOM EXPLORATION, & "STUFF"

Great guide but a bit inaccurate on the details and missing some things. If you have Mystcraft installed, you can find a house with a writing desk, book sheleves, and 0-2 symbol pages on lecterns in villages If you are in a Mystcraft age, you can find a 'library' structure with books, symbols...

    Dumb Modular Powersuit Tricks

I actualy have problems on worlds where I don't have the parchute these days. I often use it to stop me over shooting a small jump over on, precision stops at high speeds are amazing.... but without it I tend to do things like jump into the top of an infernal furnace X_X'

    Thermal Expansion or Industrial Craft?

Ignoring potential hard recipies here. I would take a pulverisor/induction furnace over a macerator early for the extra dusts. (later speed might > the extra dusts) The key thing about the pulvorisor is the extra dusts are often metals in short supply very early on (gold dust, lead), and the...

    Non-renewable Items?

Theres server diffrent ID versions of the block aparently. I suspect it's like glowstone to prevent fortune, and that only 1/500 spawn with the id to drop. Or something Like that. Hmm. Tempted to look at the code now. I'm really intrested in how it's been done exactly.

    Non-renewable Items?

You sure about this? I thought the syhpon explosions were caused by either the bug when chunk it is in unloaded, or there being more then one in existance at once. I've not seen anything about a random chance.

    Non-renewable Items?

Theres also a thread here with a mention of how the leaves are set up to prevent the silktouch chainsaw method -> http://forum.feed-the-beast.com/threads/silverwood-sapling.15057/ If I recall right it's the same for fortune. The blocks prevent it, and between the two of them your stuck with a...

SENSE AND SUSTAINABILITY; GROWLE’S FTB GUIDE TO RENEWABLE ENERGY

If i recall right, the max input/output on the cube is per face, so i would presume the tesaract works the same way. If you pipe to multiple faces you should be able to get more in/out. The 25% loss of teleporting is harsh, but is also sort of mitigated by the fact you can have all the gen in...

    Non-renewable Items?

Silverwoods are defiantly NOT renewable. Fortune has /no effect/ on them. You get about ~0.6 saplings per tree grown, so over time you WILL run out.

    gregtech block breaker nerf

'fine. I'll just use the giant magic lazors rather then the block breakers. Not too fussed about a balance change forcing me to be awsome.

I am horrible at writing MystCraft Ages. Help!

That's wrong on two levels. First, neither are modifiers. Second, as stated in Dire's vid the Modifier goes FIRST. It is 'Iron Ore(Modifyer) Tendrils' as taken from the wiki /and/ your guide. ....Not entirely sure why you're contradicting yourself.

I am horrible at writing MystCraft Ages. Help!

http://binarymage.com/wiki/doku.php?id=writing:symbols Was missing an s on the link for some reason. I can assure you the official wiki is the best source for this. The biomes are /not/ modifiers. it's a popular misconception. The guide says stars are mandatory if you have a moon at night...

    Chunkloader woes?

Considering the /quarry/ is a chunck loader, it's nearly impossable to run FTB without some chunk loading. Most players will use way less then an online player worth of chunks though if you educate rather then herpa-derp

I am horrible at writing MystCraft Ages. Help!

That guide is also riddled with mistakes. All sources from the offical (developers) wiki and confirmed via ingame experiance. - http://binarymage.com/wiki/doku.php?id=writing:symbols The length symbol is /not/ needed for suns. The biomes do NOT need to go before the Biome Controler Stars are...

I am horrible at writing MystCraft Ages. Help!

Lava (Ocean) is anouther unstable option is I recall. For a void age, make sure you have the right order, are not missing any simbols, and end with clear modifyers. I didn't see a biome and controler listed for it, so that would be my first guess if your not putitng symbols the wrong way. And...

    Water or Apple Juice

The squezzer currently gets me my mulch supply while it's running, so I have an always on Apple one and an always on water one. Apples run out from time to time (or the logs overflow jamming the system, it's not exactly well made), but it keeps the mulch supply going. My 'failsafe' for the...

If there had to be only one energy type...

Xynergy looks so cool it wins even if it can't power anything. I'm going to go with MJ. From an actual gameplay point of view, RL electircity models are way too complex less the whole point of the game is modeling electricity (which most mods arn't). Then like a good game, the concept is...

Any way to convert EU to MJ, then back to EU?

And the loss in the Tessaract. GEneraly, the best option for moving Eu is to move it as EU. if not I would recomend EU -> MJ -> Magma Crucable(into lava) _> Liquid Tessaract _> geothermal. Thats still a smaller loss then ~30% loss you get from pipe to tessaract(5%), tessaract (25%) and...
