    try running as admin (right click and select "run as admin") could be unable to access that folder as its on your desktop

    If you are making a large 100 mod pack then yes it may take hours to look through forums, however a LOT of mods are already on teh FTB launcher and you can just steal the jars from them packs if your really want, I really dont understand what the problem is now.

    Seriously, vanilla minecraft on a launcher, are you that lazy to open vanilla client, or download the snapshot, people seem to think that FTB can upload as many packs as they want and be fine. At the moment the pack guys have enough things to be doing and probably dont want the hassle of...

    golden nuggets are in vanilla, and you can make thaumic golden nuggets in the crucible

    Choc the beta pack was never meant to be updated it was a BETA, and the lite pack is updated as and when its needed. Packs can't be updated all the time, it costs a LOT of money every time they have to upload a new pack, 1000's of people all downloading the pack is a lot of bandwidth, the packs...

    So since I don't watch the yogscast I dont know how out of date the mods are but the pack can only update once every week or 2 for obvious reasons so it might just be them waiting for it to be uploaded
