Okay I have merged the Gravisuite, ChickenChunks, and TC totem textures in the JSTR pack. I also updated TC support to v3.0.3 and the glass should render correctly now :)

If that happens, it usually means something is being updated in the pack, usually if you wait 5 minutes and try again it should work :)

I've noticed it deals with oil in the same manner as lava, leaving a column underneath any blocks covered with it.

hmm would have never guessed that.

Also there's currently a server crash bug with mystcraft portals, which happens if any entity (other than players) enters one, so They're probably waiting for an official update to take care of that.

Are you using a recent version of the TP? I recently merged the community-made fixes for the mob textures into the pack, and on my end spiders look fine, so I'm not sure what could be causing such an issue for some people.

The 1.4.2 branch should work fine on 1.4.5, and although a few mods (such as railcraft) have changed their paths, I have catered for that (hopefully) where I can. When FTB updates we can clean out any outdated textures.

I must say that makes two of us Zic, I've never thought the GUIs were as bad as some make them out to be, the only thing I can think is if the machine's gui is opened whilst looking at the sky, or any other bright background that will probably make the text harder to read. On that note, if...

Changing the font colour is something I've already looked into, and unfortunately there's no easy way to change the it. There might be a mod out there that does something like this, but so far I haven't been able to find one.

Well that's how the original John Smith GUIs look, we've just based any additional GUIs on those. There's only so many changes we can make before the pack stops being John Smith and becomes something totally different.

Hmm whilst I'm all for new updates, it looks like they just can't help themselves and have changed the obfuscation yet again, which means all mods will be broken again :(

The builder has issues with Redpower microblocks aswell (or at least it used to), I tried to copy a frame machine once, and it screwed all the wires and covers up.

Well considering that anything above 30fps makes no difference anyway, a lot of people would dream to get 27-32fps, and I certainly wouldn't consider it "unplayable". The strange thing is, 1.4.2 runs better for me that 1.2.5 in single player ever did.

...or you could just use MultiMC and use the import config feature.
