    EE3 is already broken!

So, as far as I can tell, the last three pages were people arguing for or against balance based on personal opinion, correct? That's actually the issue though, personal opinion. I believe the changes to EE2/3 actually came about due to Thaumcraft 2. After seeing a mod that did extremely...

DW20 Cant use deployer on tanks?

Actually, stick the magmatic engine right by the pump, but not powering it directly. This will instantly make the liquid transfer. Do the same with transposer. Easiest is to put them in a line, Magmatic Engine - Pump - Liquid Transposer - EnderChest. Then, do a redstone conduit line across the...

    Technic Team releases Tekkit Lite

Unfortunately, you have to factor in past behaviour of the mod-pack packagers as well. The reason for resorting to the tactics that Sengir did was due to constant 'mature' requests being ignored. The forestry/tekkit debacle essentially soured quite a few developers view. That was the reason for...

    Technic Team releases Tekkit Lite

Acutally, I think the two posts that could be considered off-topic are in a way the heart of the topic. As you can see, FTB waits until it is absolutely mind-numbingly sure that all permissions are perfect. We don't know with LP, it could be something such as Krapht has said he's working on...

    House / Base Designs?

What I started doing a long time ago is building a room based on need. I take some dirt and consider those my machines, then make walls and floors with cobble. So, bottom floor, is Thaumcraft, two small storage rooms, factorization, nether portal, mining shaft down, and finally a bedroom...

    Technic Team releases Tekkit Lite

Thread ends with a 'Issue Resolved', but is a good show of what's different between their forums and ours, and why we should strive to not go down that road filled with bridges...and the things underneath them.

    Computer Craft recipes too easy

Just wanted to point out, there is a reason all the base components for CC computers are so cheap, the mod-maker specifically made them that way so people could have easy access, and were more limited by needing to program instead of needing to mine. CC is more about spreading programming, less...

    Technic Team releases Tekkit Lite

Actually, it is as simple as that, but not for the political reasons you may think. First off, Krapht is on the forgecraft server, meaning at the very least he works with the modders that actually develop the mods. Now, the current LP fork that is being used is nice, I'll say that, but what do...

    Technic Team releases Tekkit Lite

Hmm, let's see. Weapon Mod, dunno there. However, we have Thaumcraft instead. I want to say LP is on it's way when Krapht actually releases a version. As far as Additional pipe, don't know there. Right you are about chicken chunks. As to Advanced Power Management, well, there is GT, even if...

Pulverizer is better than Macerator In GregTec

I'd invite anyone wanting stack size limits to be imposed to try out TerraFirmaCraft. That said, there are so many ways around stack size, it's sort of a moot point. All that really does is extend the amount of time starting up. As to lava as fuel, it's sort of required to really do anything...

Pulverizer is better than Macerator In GregTec

Ferrous Ore in now also added in by TE. No use yet, but since pulverizing yields 'shiny dust', you have to choose whether to pulverize or grind for now. Numbers fixed, looks like IC2 loses a bit more edge, almost it's entire edge in GT, but I assume that's due to being pushed towards other...

Pulverizer is better than Macerator In GregTec

A "cycle" is the amount of time for a single completion. Looks like I doubled the cycles on the macerator on parts, and it continued farther down. I actually pulled my macerator numbers off your numbers. Easy enough to fix actually. Going back and fixing that real fast

Pulverizer is better than Macerator In GregTec

32 ore should take ~320 seconds as long as the machine has 2MJ input. If it has more than that (Max of 4), or has stored energy (It can store 12 combines, 6 at full speed and 6 at varying slower speeds), you will get number differences. And yes, I mean 10 seconds, assuming 1 second has 20...

    Portal gun insane recipe

Note, this may change, but I believe he wants to make the low tier gravity gun decently accessible but maybe a little less powerful (like durability or fuel powered), but the higher tier is going to be incredibly hard to build.

    EE3 is already broken!

I would like to disagree here. Free energy is not the same as free items. I could have 1200 advanced solar panels (or lv-arrays, your choice) generating a whopping 9600 EU/t, and yeah, that's crazy for free power. However, I can't Spend all 9600eu/t in seconds, nor can I spend it on whatever...

Pulverizer is better than Macerator In GregTec

Measurements is seconds under 20 ticks = 1 second. Horrid lag may cause it to be longer, but since it's tick based if it slows, everything else is slowing as well so it should remain constant. As to the IC2 Miner, well, we're talking about my favorite machine here. I love using this thing to...

    Geothermal Generator + The Nether

I disagree, a liquid transposer would be easier. Then you can place the magmatic engine and transposer adjacent to the pump and the liquid transfer is instant. Liquiducts resolve this quickly, and move twice as much to boot.

    Portal gun insane recipe

couldn't you instead use the lower-tier gravity gun?

Pulverizer is better than Macerator In GregTec

The trick with the crystalizer is only use a single ore type, so it's acid in one slot and say reduced gold chunks in the other 5. Each 20 minute pulse, all 5 will make their crystals. At night I typically pack up the crystalizer with about 5 stacks of 10 of the ore I am low on. come back to...
