Whats the biggest energy source/power plant you've made?

Thank you for mentioning soul shards. I never looked into them before but I now have gold blocks being produced automatically! It's hilarious to see them spawn and fall mid-air.

It does that sometimes. Drop them on the floor and repick them. If you get two piles it is because of dominant and recessive species types.

I looked at the pictures....did you do it all in creative mode? That's a lot of gold.

Water bees are pretty common. Look inside lakes to get them.

    Only turtles break hives.

Go to ravines and walk around the walls. That's a cheap way to get them before you get to quarries. But you're right, they are tough to spot. But with a quarry, it's ridiculous how many rocky bees you get lol.

    OP Items

Ultimate hybrid panel is overpowered. It should have been a 1x3x1 (a straight line) multiblock structure for the 512eu/t.

    getting started with bee breeding.

Actually, bee-breeding is by no means hard at all. It's just an iterative process, that gives the illusion of difficulty. Now, Sengir could go even crazier and implement the effort value system found in pokemon breeding/leveling, etc. Now that would be the $hits in added complexity. Lol. But...

Whats the biggest energy source/power plant you've made?

How do you guys handle constantly switching maps? Lol. I've walked around in Unleashed, but I can't give up all my progress in Mindcrack. And what are those fancy yellow colored bricks? That looks awesome.

My advice to you OP is to do bee-breeding with nothing more than standard apiaries and alvearies. Don't use machines to help you (e.g., serums, etc), at least not until you fully understand the mechanics of bee-breeding. I find that once you start relying on machines, it becomes a crutch and...

Whats the biggest energy source/power plant you've made?

I'm not sure if you were talking to me (quote me next time so I get an alert by clicking on the reply button under my post), so ignore this post if I am wrong. But on average, I get very little pure thunderstorms, especially when you're in a desert biome. So I'm going to guess it is about 1...

Why isn't Factorization compared to TE or IC2?

I don't know what some of you are grumbling about. I love factorization, even if I'm using Gregtech. Routers + Barrels alone synergizes with so many machines and helps with processing stacks of items. For example, I can use a router to literally increase the input capability of an industrial...

Whats the biggest energy source/power plant you've made?

Running mindcrack 1.4.7. About 24+ Ultimate Solar Panels laying around, another 4 hybrid panels, with another 64 advanced solar panels waiting to be converted into ultimates. Goal is to reach 50k eu/t regardless of day/night. So that's eventually about 200 ultimate panels connected in pairs...

    "Specialty" bee products

Are these changes in 1.5.2 and up? I'm still on Mindcrack 1.4.7 and I'm getting regular specialty products, as far as I can tell, regardless of biome.

I don't get it, how does the glass-fibre cable even interface with the redstone energy cell? Do you have a screenshot to show the 100k eu/t?

    Help with BC piping

The autarchic gates, without a connected engine only pumps out 1 item at a time. By the time another item reaches the router on the left, the router would have distributed it (thus no overflow). Since there are no upgrades to the router, the router will evenly spread out 1 item at a time across...

    Help with BC piping

If that's the case, then there is a cheaper alternative that doesn't require any filters whatsoever. You only need 2 routers, one barrel, one diamond chest, 2 autarchic gates, and 2 wooden pipes. The gates are simply set to items in inventory > energy pulser. This approach is slower, but it gets...

    Help with BC piping

This. Especially if you're using engines to pump stuff out from the input chest. I can see hundreds of items being looped and once the limit of 100 items per pipe has been reached, stuff will start spilling out all over.
