Yeah, the thing you are doing wrong is playing ultimate. It is a bug that exists in ultimate when creating new ages. Apparently you need to delete your region data whenever you generate an age and re-visit it to have it generate correctly. So strange.

I and others have come across a bug where mystcraft worlds in ult will generate randomly regardless of your input to those ages. If you have that problem, the only fix I found was to delete the world region data and re-generate the specific world.

Use forge, it un-obfuscates the code for you and sets up a great eclipse working environment.

If it has a target in sight, it will happily "phase" through warded blocks. In reality, it momentarily destroys them and moves within the block's hitbox allowing the wither to simply walk through it. Currently MFFS is the only thing that actively pushes the wither back into the containment...

I just tested again, it only seems to chew through them if there isnt a target for it to slice up, however it will break free of any non bedrock non mffs prison you give it.
