Has there ever been official support? The stuff on the launcher is stuff they promote, but they dont' support it... (as far as I know). And again, Soartex does it all for you - just download the downloader from his website. (google it, I think it's like soartex.com or such) Then it's not...

Fair enough. But that's just cuz they aren't going to update any of the 1.4.7 packs anymore; specially with 1.6 around the corner. *keeps looking for 0.7 and begins pacing...*

I don't think anyone said it was a main pack - but there are plenty of texture packs out there. I personally used to love Sphax's; but I've grown really attached to Soartex's (which is on the launcher - tho you'd be better off with his updater. A completely ingenious idea...)

Considering all the changes that had to be made for BOP - and none have to be made for EBXL; I disagree. :)

It's not on there; you'll just have to add it manually (I prefer it way more than BOP myself as well...)

Simply put: you don't. You not only have to have BOP on the server; you have to tell the server to use it - Unlike EBXL; which is automatic (once it's on the server). EDIT: To get it working, it has to be copied to the server - you have to edit the server.properties to use BOP (I forget what...

Since worlds aren't compatible between versions (and never have been) - that shouldn't need to be mentioned. Regardless, he's talking 0.6 to 0.7; not 1.4.7 to 1.5.2 (Which never had Xycraft or Redpower)

So has anyone seen an update on the 0.7 mod pack? They posted last night there was a small issue - and everyone seems to have poofed....

Is this a coming change? NOthing's changed on my launcher. Despite the "unstable" - they've been very stable. But they have said 0.7 is out (I haven't seen it either) and it will be "official" in a week or two (unless something bad happens...)

My response still answered the question. 1.4.7 mods will no longer be updated, and the new pack will replace Ultimate as the premier pack - when its been tested. But Ultimate will not be removed regardless.

They've said that Ultimate and all 1.4.7 mods will be staying there on the launcher. The new pack will no longer be private (at least, that was my take on it) 'soon'

I was hoping it would be done tonight so I could take my server down before bed; but I'm guessing something happened and it's taking them longer than they expected to finalize it.
