The Bio Generator. Takes biofuel and turns it into EU. Make sure you read the Forestry wiki! It will help a bunch. As for which farm is most efficient for EU...well saplings provide more per bucket, but I think I've heard people say sugarcane is better because it grows faster? I'm not 100%...

Unmined makes a nice map, in .png or .bmp. It isn't that hard to convert over to .jpg though, is it?

Cobblestone can still be set on fire by lava. If one of your cobble blocks had a fire spawn from the lava, it could have spread to your wood quite easily. Always use stone or stone brick to surround the lava from the crucible.

Thermal Expansion has the ferrous ore. Thermal Expansion, Factorization, and Greg Tech all have lead ingots. Although, I think only TE has lead ore in world gen. Quartz Crystal is from XYCraft.

Open NEI, change to cheat mode. Put yourself in survival mode through NEI (click the C twice). Does that fix it at all?

The two numbers are how far the x and z coords you want to be pre-generated. I don't think I ever said it was chunks, just blocks. Sorry if you got that impression. 16000x16000 would end up quite a bit of memory. A 3GB or so world, I think.

TE ingots sort just fine for me. Do you have them in your InvTweaksTree?

ID mismatch thing. Yes means ignore and enter the world anyway, supposedly it'll delete any blocks placed that are the IDs in conflict. It shouldn't effect your game too badly, but backup your world anyway. Or wait until FTB resolves it.
