GregTech's Machines exploding due package overload?!

Put a CESU (128eu/t?) next to each IBF. Keep your setup as it was Initially. The MFSU is only sending packets in size of 2048 that get down converted twice. There is probably a tick in between the conversions and the buffer storage in the machine is tiny. Either that, or another machine on...

    Direwolf20 V1.0.11 Build

Make a city, then add rail stops and automate the sending/receiving of transport carts or supplies/energy to certain parts of the city. It can be quite hard and you can make some seriously awesome switching stations and its quite a challenge to do it while keeping chunk loads at a minimum.

Those little things that irk you about Minecraft

Its one thing to have it in the game like he mentions, its another for it not to exist anywhere on any site. These forums and the wikis used to be a trove of knowledge on this stuff and those conversations were fun. You not wanting the numbers shouldn't mean we aren't able to obtain them. I...

Any ideas on this steam fluid? I am just confused.

Would this have the same root cause as all the NEI liquids being borked? Regular recipes still work if you know them, but all the NEI lookups (for forestry liquids especially) return odd stuff like coolant in place of seed oil.

Is that oneed of those types of panels that has a bit of internal storage? If so, that's your culprit. Itwould cause an explosion once more than one panel went into buffer mode, because the next power draw would trigger 32eu/t from more than one source. I suggest running them using copper...

It is possible that while the solars generate 1 EU/t, they output in 32 EU packets or greater. I think this was the case with one of the advanced solars. in that circumstance, all solars sending their packet at the same time would cause an overload. Try the same setup with only one panel, or...

Those little things that irk you about Minecraft

that's a good example of why he wants the info. steam dynamos consume 40 steam for 80 rf/t if using pure steam, the numbers you just listed are for coal. It's hard to design a good system not using surplus/void at the moment because the engine/dynamo numbers aren't as available as they used to...

For anyone interested, I removed the ceiling and it didn't help. The lag vanished after removing the microblocks, about 3.5k of them. Seems lighting on microblocks causes some strain on even the best machines?

If it still works the same way, you just toss em in the liquid area. It did/does damage and should eventually kill them.

    Monster and Ore Generation.

I thought sunstone ore was from ars magica 2. I think firestone is a new rail craft ore that's a special heat source, useful in boilers for one but not sure on other uuses.

    Monster and Ore Generation.

Has anyone else had trouble finding Firestone? I have heard its under lava in the nether, but natura coated the underside of lava lakes with tainted soil. I'm curious if its interfering with the ore spawn, I'm looking in the wrong place, or its just really rare.

    About Optifine

Yes, get it, people have a license to be an ass in a passive aggressive way, but as soon as you react with hostility towards it, you're the bad guy. I'm not going to hold my tongue when someone posts a GIF saying they wfish the could punch me and calls me ignorant.

You can also see which chunks are chunk loaded. This is almost guaranteed to be someone using an enderchest with a quarry, then using an AE import bus on the chest at home.

    About Optifine

To summarize wht zemerick said, people could often tell the difference between 60-100fps and 60fps because of microstutter, a hot topic in te graphics industry today. Fps is an average, and uusually the hhigher average will have less frequent or less drastic lows, but this isn always the case...

As info, yellow, while it looks like it would be a connection in the interface, means the side is disabled. Orange is output, blue is input. I'm getting massive load lag when I warp/travel into my base. Its underground, around 150x150x70, without any openings to light, and the walls and...

What exactly is offensive about being told to play in creative mode?

Im going to use an anology here. Mine craft is ike horse-hobbies. Some like to race, some like to go to a petting zoo, ssome like to ride, some like gambling, some like breeding, some like that weird horse dance nnonsense they put in the Olympics. What matters is the person doing it eenjoys...

    What causes this lighting/illumination glitch?

May sound weird, but have you tried turning off smooth lighting? It can actually cause lighting issues, for example, the black unlit textures you can get with microblocks sometimes. Give it a whirl, smooth lighting blows ass anyway.

Those little things that irk you about Minecraft

The difference in yield between fortune and a pulverizer is minimal. You could have it auto-pulverize by ender pouching it into a processing system. Then again, you could just do that with the apatie itself, though it can be tedious doing it after every vein.
