Can you please try again without optifine installed?

Probably the same issue as this : http://forum.feed-the-beast.com/threads/1-2-0-bug-landscape-not-loading-properly-and-impossible-to-walk-over.72051/#post-1029410

Open 1.4.1: Crash on world startup

Have your friend upgrade the java version to at least 1.7, if not 1.8. Java 1.6 is not usable for this modpack.

Open 1.2.0: I can't start my FTB Infinity

Please post logfiles, it's near impossible to help out otherwise.

Open 1.2.0: BC Filler hangs up server

For me this issue is closed (as I managed to remove the filler), and I can see on github that Buildcraft 6.4.6 should contain the proper fix for this issue, so I consider this closed.

    Closed 1.2.0: Game Crash

You are going to have to post at least the logfiles of the crash, otherwise people will not be able to see what went wrong.

Open 1.2.0: BC Filler hangs up server

While creating the thread dump I noticed a lot of spam on the console, several 100s of lines per second: [18:13:28] [Client thread/INFO] [STDOUT]: [buildcraft.builders.gui.GuiFiller$FillerParameterSlot:getParameter:39]: getParameter 1 0 [18:13:28] [Client thread/INFO] [STDOUT]...

Open 1.2.0: BC Filler hangs up server

I tested it on Infinity 1.3.1, with buildcraft upgraded to 6.4.5. Sadly, that didn't fix it (or I did something wrong?). I will see if I can rerun this on my windows machine with visualVM.

The problem is solved for now, and thanks for the tip, I will give visualVM a spin.

Open 1.2.0: BC Filler hangs up server

Infinity 1.3.1 uses BuildCraft 6.4.3. I tested it with Infinity 1.3.4 as well, but don't ask me which buildcraft version is in there. Edit : 6.4.5 may be a good choice, this may definitely have been the cause: (Fix attempt) [#2584] Filler lag when out of blocks (asie)

Open 1.2.0: BC Filler hangs up server

Version: 1.2.0 What is the bug: On a stock multiplayer server (1.3.1) a BC filler caused th server to turn unresponsive. Players could log in, but the server would be unresponsive, with the following messages: [10:42:23] [Server thread/WARN]: Can't keep up! Did the system time change, or is...

Open 1.2.0: SAG Mill not processing nether ores

Have you tried putting them in an alloy smelter/furnace etc? Works like a charm.

Open 1.2.0: Infinity won't launch on linux server

I believe the minimum version you need for java is 1.7, 64-bit, so I would try that first.

Open 1.2.0: World corruption bug. Deleting the source with MCEdit doesn't solve the problem.

Do you mean an extra utilities drum? I just tried that on 1.2.1, and that works fine.

    Open 1.2.0: yellorite ore bug

As far as I know, the two are interchangable. So you can use uranium ingots where yellorite is normally used.

    1.0.3: DW20 1.7.10 doesn't launch

Do you have the logfile for the launcher? Please post it, if so.

1.0.3: CoFH Critical error reading from a world generation file

I don't believe the file mentioned in the logs is part of a world save (or of minecraft altogether) : /apps/DireWolf20/Minecraft/config/cofh/world/.DS_Store. I'd try removing it, then starting minecraft again. PS: the .DS_store files are present in the config files for FTB as well. I don't know...

    1.0.3: World crash on startup

According to the logs you are running the pack with 1 gigabyte of memory, that is not enough. Try to increase it to 4. Also, your java version is rather old, I would update that as well.
